It all started when two professional surfers, Marlon Lipke and Gony Zubizareta, had the idea of introducing a brand that showed what surfing is all about, having fun. They did so by providing unique and exciting designs to stores in Europe, including at Jah Shaka Surf Shop in the town of Lagos in the south coast of Portugal.
If you’re a surfer with curiosity and willingness to try out some good surf material, there is absolutely no way that you haven’t heard of this new kid in town. Jam Traction is the first European brand producing surf accessories and we are proud to represent it in our surf shop.
With their collection of funky surf decks and high-quality leashes, this surf brand is definitely promising, since they spread their word and got some good feedback from beginner, intermediate and professional surfers. The bright J-logo of Jam Traction deck pads has been spotted in the biggest world surf events and contests already – such as Vans US Open in Huntington Beach or in the Ballito Pro in South Africa.
The decks are specifically made for high level attachment, due to their texture. The best part is that these grips come in two separate pieces, for placement on the surfboard according to the surfer’s will.
Also surf accessories are amazingly affordable, with their highest prices at 36 euros at Jah Shaka Surf Shop.
The surf leashes are also looking good, with their thickness range of 5,5mm and 7mm, and length of 6ft.
Hats are also available, and hopefully, more colours and designs will be introduced in the near future.
